Remember the Prisma app? Yes, that viral filter app Prisma is again in news. It has finally added support for videos. So, you can now turn your videos into art paintings. Android users will have to be more patient because this feature is coming for videos only.

This feature is only available for iOS and it allows users to apply filters to 15 seconds videos. It does not offer all art filters for now, but you can use 9 filters including Candy, Cold Fish, Paper Art, and Tokyo for videos.

Just like it did with images, processing for videos also happens locally. When the app was launched, it used to upload images on its servers and brought it back after processing.

Applying filters on videos takes longer time because it styles videos frame by frame. But it has managed to reduced time by adding the local processing.

“The processing time as well as the resolution depends on the device. It takes 30 secs to run a 15-sec video on iPhone 7, 55-60 seconds on iPhone 6s and 2 minutes on iPhone 6,” the company said in a statement

This feature is still in beta and the company is also working to add GIF support soon. Soon, you will also see more filters for videos.
