We can expect this filters to be available for Facebook videos. But there may be a separate app similar to Prisma. We can also expect these filters to be available for Live videos because filters work in real-time.

Update: These effects will also be available Live videos. We just watched the live video with filters effect. Prisma cofounder Alexey Moiseenkov just demonstrated the Prisma Live on Facebook videos that applies the same filters on Facebook Live. So, I am sure Facebook will surely bring this to Live videos.

Under the leadership of Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook keeps close eye on all new trending apps and starts working to integrate it with its social media platform or launch a similar app.

It did the same by copying features from different apps including Snapchat, Periscope, Foursquare and more. It always tries to copy the trending apps and make its platform more engaging. Most of the times, it gets success in copying and killing the rival.
