After several incidents of Galaxy Note 7 explode, Samsung decided to recall all sold units and give users a brand new device. They are giving Galaxy J-series devices to use till replacement device is available or refunds if you want. Many countries have banned the use of Galaxy Note 7 in flights or in checked-in baggage. Still, people are not taking it seriously.

Many people are still using the Galaxy Note 7 and are not taking interest in replacement even after the risk. If you are one of the Galaxy Note owner and thinks that this will not happen to you, you are risking your life. You must go to nearest Samsung store and ask for a replacement, loaner or refund.

Samsung is also planning to take things seriously because this is the matter of safety. According to reports, Samsung will be de-activating active Galaxy Note 7 devices after September 30th if they are not exchanged.

A Redditor from France has claimed. He also revealed that replacement units will arrive in the country starting September 19. It is for sure that the Redditor is only talking about theĀ

This whole process is costing over $1 billion to the company and we should appreciate Samsung for doing this for customers.

After this new broke up, Samsung’s officials have denied any such plans for deactivation in a statement give to Android Authority and “all official guidance will be published on its website.’ So, we can assume that remote de-activation may be on cards for France only and it is just in discussions.
