Apple has just announced its next generation Apple watch dubbed as ‘Apple Watch Series 2.’ Apple watch was shatterproof and this watch is swim-proof. You can swim up to 50 meters with this watch. It can calculate the calories burn while swimming.

This watch is completely sealed, except the speaker. So, Apple has redesigned the speaker system to eject the water.
It is packed with 2nd Gen dual core S2 Chip which is 50% faster than previous gen. It is now easier to access third-party apps, receive and respond to notification.
It also features 2nd Gen display which is 2 brighter with 1000 nits. So, you will face no issue while using it even in direct sunlight.
It also has built-in GPS. With GPS, watch is not more useful. The company also demonstrated how you will get alerts if you are going on the wrong paths. Now, you can run with your phone and still measure your running data. Apple Watch Series 2 uses Wi-Fi, GPS and locally stored satellite data to quickly identify your location You will also get the map of your run.
Apple has also confirmed that Apple Watch is second most selling watch line by revenue in just 18 months after launch, behind only Rolex brand.
Apple Watch Series 2 will be available in gold, rose gold, silver or space gray aluminum, or silver or space black stainless steel cases paired with a wide variety of bands starting at $369 (US).
Apple Watch Series 2 adds a new ceramic variant along with aluminum and stainless steel. It is priced at $1249.
