Redmi Note 3 becomes the highest-shipped phone in any quarter in India’s online market: IDC

While Xiaomi is not losing its market in China to other rivals, It still has the good hold in the Indian market. IDC’s recent report has brought a good news for the company. According to IDC, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has become the highest shipped smartphone ever in the quarter in Indian history of the online market.

Xiaomi also confirmed to sell 1.75 million Redmi Note 3 units in just 5 months. Well, this number is big and this news as well.

Karthik J , Senior Market Analyst, Client Devices, IDC India, “Redmi Note 3 was not only the top-selling model in the online channel but also a star product for the vendor contributing to the majority of Xiaomi’s total shipments in Q2 2016.”

IDC noted that 880,000 units of Redmi Note 3 were shipped in Q2 2016 via the online channel. Around 1 of every 9 phones sold online in India was Redmi Note 3 in the specified time period. This number is almost double of the second highest-shipped smartphone in the online channel.

Well, this phone is still popular due to its aggressively low price but high performance. In our review, we also noted that the phone is the best phone in the price of Rs. 9999 and still no other phone managed to beat it in terms of performance. It offers almost lag free performance, good gaming, and awesome battery backup.

Redmi Note 3 comes with 5.5-inch full HD display, hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. It has 16 megapixels rear camera with dual LED flash, 5-megapixels front camera and 4000 mAh large battery.
