The time when Reliance Jio 4G has attracted the attention of everyone, BSNL has announced its new 3G plans to retain its customers. BSNL has announced truly unlimited 3G data plan at Rs. 1,099. There is no FUP in this plan.
When most of the telecom operators offer unlimited data plans with a FUP, BSNL wants you to enjoy its 3G service truly unlimited and consume as much data as you can. You will not see any reduction in speed even after consuming any amount of data.
Along with this plan, BSNL has also doubled the data usage in existing plans. Now, you can enjoy 10GB 3G data for Rs. 549 and it is valid for 30 days.
These are the new plans with price, bundled data and validity.

BSNL has also improved its network and gained new subscribers in recent months. It has added highest number of subscribers in April 2016 for 3 months in a row.
“Due to improvement in network, BSNL has been gaining customers. We are now first in the industry to offer unlimited 3G plan for Rs 1,099 without reduction in speed. This will rejoice our customers and help them experience improved BSNL networks,” BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Anupam Shrivastava said.
As of now BSNL has no 4G network. So, it is trying to attract more customers and retain existing by offering good 3G plans.
It will be interesting to see how other telecom operators react to this move.
