The Xbox E3 for this year is finally over. There were a lot of announcements that Microsoft chose to make during the event. In this segment, we will be dealing with the top announcements.
Project Scorpio
It has been more than a year since Project Scorpio made a debut, and we are sure that it certainly carries a lot of potentials. According to Phil Spencer, the head of the Xbox division, this console is definitely the most powerful gaming device that was ever made by the company. This means that the One series will also take a plunge into the VR market joining its main rival the PlayStation. We would like to see how the company will implement this technology and what the box will cost.
Star Wars Updates
It looks like the game is getting some major updates and developments. The new game with content from Star Wars: The Force Awakens known as the Star Wars Battlefront was showcased.
God of War
The very popular game, God of War has made a reappearance this time. However, this time, he is a father. This series does look a lot different from the other parts of the series and shows a bit of the sympathetic side of Kratos.
PlayStation VR
October 13 is the date when we will see the VR platform for the first time. 50 games will be launched exclusively for the platform between the date of the launch and the end of the year.
Star Wars and Star Trek VR
Both Star Wars and Star Trek VR are going for the full-blown VR experience. Ubisoft is working on Star Trek: Bridge Crew whereas the Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR Mission is also coming up.
Fallout 4 VR
It looks like Bethesda Softworks is also willing to enter the VR market. With the Fallout 4 VR version approaching, we are definitely quite excited.
Xbox One S
The Xbox One has finally received a slimmer, smaller alternative. The Xbox One is 40 percent smaller and still has support for 4K and a revamped controller. Another interesting addition is the internal power supply.
Resident Evil’s entry into VR
Thanks to VR, we are getting to see a return of a lot of games in the market. From what we saw, we are sure that VR is going to take game experiences, especially the horror ones to a completely different level.
The Amazing Spider-Man
We saw the preview of the game as it was announced that it is making a comeback for the PS4. The amazing spider man is being developed by Insomniac games.
