Opera expands free VPN feature with its iOS app

Last month, Opera added free and unlimited VPN into the developer version of its web browser. Now this VPN is also available in Opera for iOS. Similar to the desktop browser, this Opera app also offers free and unlimited VPN.

Like the desktop browser, this app also uses SurfEasy VPN service acquired by Opera. SurfEasy also offers its standalone VPN apps for Android and iOS with subscription charges. But Opera browser will allow users to access this VPN free and unlimited for life without any subscription. But, you can only use this VPN in the browser. Other apps can not use this VPN.

As of now, it offers virtual regions from Canada, Germany, Singapore, and the US. Company also promised to bring more locations soon. Not just VPN, it also blocks ads and gives you faster web experience.

With this feature, Opera browser is now a must have the mobile browser for college going students and people working in corporates where many websites are generally blocked.
