Ola launches Bike Taxis in Bangalore to take on UberMoto

Earlier today, Uber announced UberMoto motorbike service in Bangalore. In the same day, Ola also launched its Ola Bike service in Bangalore. This service is very much similar to UberMoto.

Minium fare of Ola Bike is Rs. 30 and you will be charged Rs. 2 per KM. Rs. 1 per minute will also be charged as trip time. If we compare it with Uber, it is charging Rs. 15 minimum fare and Rs. 3 per KM. Ola also said that this is introductory fare, so it might cost more in future.

Booking a bike taxi is same as you book a cab in Ola cab. Now, you will see a new option for bike to book a bike ride. Driver will bring helmet for you and it is mandatory for safety

Now, Ola and Uber both are into Bike taxi service and both companies launched the service same day in same city. It will be interesting to see how both companies manage to compete and grab customers.
