Moto 360Wait for the next generation of Moto 360 is now over. Lenovo has started sending press invites for the launch of Moto 360 Gen 2. Launch event is scheduled to September 8 in Shanghai. Company also confirmed the same via Chinese microblogging website Weibo.

As per the recent leaks and rumours, we can expect two variants of Moto 360 Gen 2. The smaller version Moto 360 S will feature 1.37-inch display with dial size of 38mm. It will come with 270mAh battery. The bigger variant Moto 360 L will have slightly larger 1.55-inch display with 46mm dial. It will also come with larger battery of 375mAh. Both variants of smartwatch will run on latest version of Android Wear OS.

We can also expect a more rugged “Sport” version of Moto 360 optimized for outdoor use.
