Google has announced its newest tablet Google Pixel C at the same event in which it launched Nexus devices. This new tablet comes with 10.2 inch (3200×1800 pixels) 500 nits 16:9 display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). Similar to surface and iPad pro, it also supports detachable keyboard that will be available separately.
Google Pixel C is powered by NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor with 256-core Maxwell GPU with 3 GB RAM. Connectivity features of the tablet are Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2×2 MIMO, dual-band (2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C.
The Google Pixel C tablet is priced at $499 for the 32GB version and $599 for the 64GB version. Detachable bluetooth keyboard is priced at $149. Google confirmed that the Pixel C will be available during the holidays, but couldn’t confirm the exact date.
