Chinese manufacturer OnePlus is officially making it possible to develop custom ROM for OnePlus 2. Company has announced that kernel source code is now available to download via Github.

Developers will have full access to Oxygen OS. They will be able to developer custom ROM for OnePlus 2 smartphone.

OnePlus One was launched with with Cyanogen installed, but its conflict with company started with India launch of OnePlus One. It forced company to come up with its own custom OS to be free from Cyanogen to avoid any future issues. Company announced new Oxygen announced earlier this year and also pushed upgrade to OnePlus One smartphones. OnePlus 2 was launched with Oxygen OS based on Android Lollipop.
