Finally, no more fun and controversies will be there from Housing.com. In today’s board meeting, board has decided to bring a new CEO for Housing and fired existing CEO Rahul Yadav. Board also asked Rahul to leave the company.
Rahul Yadav who is also the co-founder of the company, will no longer be an employee of Housing. He will not be associated with the company in any manner. He was asked to leave the premises immediately after the meeting. He already created too much trouble for the company. Although, bad publicity helped Housing in increasing its traffic. But it lost reputation and respect from investors.
Rahul Yadav also confirmed this via a Facebook post.
Company has already started searching for a new CEO. Until the search is complete, current senior executives of Housing.com will continue to run the operations.
Rahul Yadav, an IIT-Bombay dropout, started the real estate business Housing.com with collegemates in 2012. He got early success by raising huge amount of investments. But this year was not at all good for the company and him. He started behaving really bad. He tried to make fun of Zomato CEO by calling him restaurant menu scanner. What the hell.. Rahul, you were nothing more than Property aggregator which almost every small or big property broker do in almost every city. And you call it solving a problem. I was surprised by his recent posts in which he was behaving like a kid.
I have been expecting this decision for quite long. Company suffered a lot just because of his irresponsible behaviour.
Now, Housing.com will start focusing on its business by leaving all the controversies. We have also heard that Quickr.com is interested in buying Housing.com. There is no confirmation on this from any side. I am trying to get more information on this matter.
