Few days back, we reported that BlackBerry is working on Android smartphone to boost its smartphone sale. Now, Evan Blass (aka evleaks) posted a photo on Twitter showing BlackBerry’s next Android smartphone. It is called the BlackBerry “Venice” which is just the code name. Actual model name will be revealed by the company at the time of launch.

This smartphone will reportedly be launched on AT&T.
This new smarphone will be similar to what BlackBerry showcased at MWC few months back. But that device was running on BB OS. We are expecting the same device but running on Android.
Launching Android smartphones will surely help BlackBerry in getting few customers. BB OS lacks in apps and other features which are available in Android. Android market is full of smartphones but it still lacks smartphone with physical keyboard. BlackBerry is well known for its QWERTY smartphones and android’s Popularity will surely attract few customers to try BlackBerry’s QWERTY phones running on Android.
