Apple introduces new iPod touch with A8 SoC, 8MP camera and new color options

iPod touchAs we reported earlier, Apple has unveiled its the new line up of iPod touch. Apple has focused on better camera hardware, imaging software and gaming performance.

You also have new color options. New iPod is now available in silver, space gray, (Product)red, pink, blue and gold. New colors are also available in iPod nano and shuffle models. But iPod nano and shuffle models have no improvement in features.

New iPod touch now comes with 64-bit A8 processor similar to iPhone 6. It also has 8 megapixel camera similar to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.  Apple has also updated image sensor processor. It has added burst and slo-mo modes in the camera. It has same 4 inch display and same design. WiFi has been improved with new higher-speed connectivity. It also got ‘M8′ chip to track fitness data, steps and elevation.

New iPod touch is priced at $199 for the 16GB model, $299 for 64GB model and $399 for 128GB model.
