OnePlus 2 to have USB Type-C PortNext piece of Information about OnePlus 2 is finally here. Company confirmed that its next flagship device will come with USB Type-C port. USB Type-C comes with so many benefits over existing USB port. This is the reason, OnePlus 2 smartphone is going to be awesome.

If we talk about USB Type-C, it is reversible. So, you can easily plug it and no more fumbling. It can transfer data at up to 10 Gbps. It can also transfer video in both direction i.e. phone to PC or PC to phone (PC or, tablet, or TV). So, there is no need to have HDMI port or display port. It can deliver up to 100w of power which is enough to charge a laptop.

OnePlus also confirmed that it made few changes in USB Type-C open standards and these changes will be exclusive to brand. Company didn’t reveal those changes just to keep it secret until the launch.

Company already confirmed that OnePlus 2 will come with revised Snapdragon 810 Soc. Company will reveal more information in pieces. So, stay tuned for all latest updates.
