Micromax Mobiles has launched its next flagship device Micromax Canvas Silver 5 for Rs. 17999. This smartphone comes with a just 5.1 mm thick body and powerful hardware specifications. The company claims it to be slimmest and lightest phone ever. Its thickness is maintained “end-to-end” on the handset without any bump. If we talk about Vivo X5Max, it offers 4.75mm thickness but features a bump in the rear camera region. This is also the same case with Oppo R5 which measures 4.85mm thickness but with bumps.
Micromax Canvas Silver 5 features a 4.8 inch AMOLED display and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB RAM. It has 16 GB internal storage but there is no card slot to expand storage. It features a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and Sony IMX219 CMOS sensor with a ‘blue glass filter’. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. It offers 4G, WI-FI. Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 2000 mAh battery which is expected to offer good performance.

Weight of the smartphone is just 97g. Buyers will also get double 4G data from Airtel with this smartphone. The Airtel offer is valid for three months. It will be available in Gold and Black colour variants.
