Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone Redmi 2 in India for Rs. 6999. This smartphone will be available exclusively via Flipkart. It will be competing with Moto E Gen 2Huawei Honor Holly, and Lenovo A6000 in Indian market. Redmi 2 was officially announced earlier this year in January.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 features a 4.7 inch IPS display. it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. It is packed with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. It has a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 2200 mAh battery.
