Kaspersky Labs Launches Phound! Anti-Theft App for Android

Kaspersky Labs has launched a new anti-theft app Phound!. This app lets users find their lost Android device and access data on device from remote location. Using My Kaspersky portal, you will also be available to block unauthorized access on your device from remote location.

Once the app is installed and activated on a device, device owner will be able to locate the device on map using its GPS, Wi-fi and GSM services. One can also take picture using front camera from remote location. So, it can be used to capture the photo of thief. It is also possible to display a message on the device.

Users will also be able to wipe their photos, messages, contacts and other data from remote location. It also has a alarm feature which once activated needs to enter the secret code.

Phound! app is now available on Google Play Store and supports devices running on Android 3.0 or higher.
