The iBall has launched two new Windows tablet iBall Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R in Indian market. These tablets have been priced at Rs. 18,499 and Rs. 19,999 respectively. Both devices are same in hardware specifications but iBall Slide WQ149i is Wi-Fi only tablet and iBall Slide WQ149R is Wi-Fi+3G tablet.
Both iBall Slide WQ149i and iBall Slide WQ149R feature a 10.1 inch WXGA IPS multi-touch display. These are powered by Intel Atom processor (up to 1.83GHz) coupled with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. These tablets have 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera and 32 GB internal storage. There is no word on microSD card slot, but Microsoft offers free Microsoft Office 365 licence and 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage for one year.
Connectivity features of the tablet are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB, Micro-USB, HDMI, Bluetooth, and USB OTG options. But The iBall Slide WQ149R also includes 3G connectivity.
Both tablets are hybrid devices and can be used as tablet by using bundled pogo-pin keyboard.
