BlackBerry has launched a non-camera version of its BlackBerry Classic smartphone exclusively for the Verizon Wireless mobile carrier. This smartphone is specially for those who are not allowed to bring camera smartphone in office or workplace.

This smartphone is now available for pre-order via Verizon for $99.99 with two years contracts. Unlocked version of the smartphone will also be available for $399.99. Original BlackBerry Classic was announced back in December.

The BlackBerry Classic is a QWERTY smartphone. It features a 3.5 inch display with 720 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus (MSM8960) processor with 2GB of RAM. It has 16 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. It runs on BlackBerry OS 10.3.1. Connectivity features of the smartphone are Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity options. It is packed with 2515mAh battery.

BlackBerry Classic smartphone also comes with various apps which a business users might need. These apps are BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Assistant, Dropbox, Adobe Reader, Evernote, BlackBerry Blend, BBM, BlackBerry World, Amazon Appstore, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Foursquare, and YouTube.
