Toshiba has launched its latest Windows 8.1 based tablet Toshiba WT8 in India. THis tablet was originally announced back in May. In India, it is priced at Rs. 15,490. It is now available exclusively via Amazon.in.
Toshiba WT8 features a 8 inch multi-touch display. It is powered by a 1.33 GHz Quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card slot. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS. It features a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel front camera. It is packed with 3788mAh battery which claims to offer 11.1 hours of mixed usage. For enhanced audio experience, it has speakers with Dolby Digital Plus and Surround Decoder that convert two-channel stereo audio into 5.1 channels.
Connectivity features of the tablet are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. Disappointing thing is that this tablet lacks 3G connectivity.
