Huawei has officially announced its new 8 inch tablet Huawei Honor T1 globally. This tablet went on sale back in September in Malaysia. Thia tablet will be available in other countries later this month for EUR 130.

As per the official landing page of the tablet, Huawei Honor T1 features a 8 inch IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly bean with Emition UI 1.6 at top. I am not sure what was the point of behind launching a device with JellyBean while cheaper devices with kitkat are already available. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor. It is packed with 1 GBRA and 8 GB internal storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 32 GB. It has a 5 megapixel rear cmaera but no flash. It has a VGA front camera for video calling. Connectivity features of the tablet are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G. It also offers voice calling.
