Windows 9 with start menu

Windows 9 seems to be the hybrid of Windows 7 and Windows 8. It will have start menu as it was in Windows 7 but with metro style look and feel. Apart from the regular list of apps on the left pane, you will also have live tile interface on the right side of the start menu. Users will be able to pin/unpin programs on the right side of the start menu. One can also move items in start menu by drag and drop.

Microsoft is expected to release the Technical Preview of Windows 9 next month for developers.
