Flipkart Leaked Spice Android One Dream Uno Before Official Announcement

Google will host a press event in India on Monday September 15 to launch budget friendly Android One Smartphones. But Flipkart has leaked one of those budget friendly Android One smartphones. Last night Flipkart listed Spice Android Once Dream Uno Mi-498 smartphone for Rs. 6,999. When it went viral, Flipkart removed the listing.

But most of the blogs captured the details of the smartphone. It comes with good hardware specifications at this price but consumers are not expecting better. This is because they are already crazy about Redmi 1S. So, they expects smartphone similar to that.

If we talk about Spice Android One Dream UNO Mi-498, it is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-core Mediatek processor with Mali 400 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It has 4 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. It comes with 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a front camera of 2 megapixel. It runs on Android 4.4.4 kitkat. It will be a dual SIM card support. It features a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display.

Android One is the Google’s initiative to bring low cost Android smartphones with better specifications. Google announced this on its I/O event.

Spice has also started teasing the smartphone on its Facebook page.

Micromax and Karboon are also other partner for Android One. They have also started teasing their smartphone. Micromax will sell its smartphone exclusively on Amazon India while Karbonn has partnered with Snapdeal. Thee smartphones will be available for urchase starting September 15, 3:30pm IST.
