Along with the Xiaomi Mi3 , The Chinese smartphone maker also launched their two new smartphones named Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Xiaomi Redmi Note in the Indian market. The firm has not given any exact date for the availability but said that it will be available soon in the country. According to the Xiaomi Global VP Hugo Barra, users can expect Redmi 1S in the 1st week of August and Redmi Note in the last week of august. He also added that these are tentative dates.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note will be available only in white color but the consumers will be getting range of colorful back covers. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999. Whereas Xiaomi Redmi 1S will be available in many colors and is priced at Rs. 6,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 1S is an entry level smartphone with 4.7-inch HD display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor along with Adreno 305 GPU. Talking about the photography, Xiaomi Redmi 1S seems very good as it has 8MP rear or back facing camera with feature like LED flash. It also has a 1.6MP front facing camera. Other features include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory that can expand via microSD card upto 64GB. Lastly talking about the connectivity, Xiaomi Redmi 1S has 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. The smartphone will run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). The battery backup of the smartphone seems ok as it has 2000 mAh battery.

The photo clicking abilities just seems awesome with 13MP rear or back facing camera with feature like LED flash. The phablet also have 5MP front facing camera. Xiaomi Redmi Note will be supporting Dual SIM with dual standby. Other features include 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card upto 32GB. The battery of the smartphone seems fine as it has 3100 mAh battery.
