According to the report of The Economic Times, Sony is hosting press event on 8th May in order to launch its latest smartphone named Sony Xperia Z2. The firm is sending out invites to the technology presses across the country. Sony Xperia Z2 was first introduced at the Mobile world Congress in February this year.
Talking about the features, Sony Xperia Z2 has a 5.2-inch full HD display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. The smartphone will run on Android 4.4. Talking about the photo clicking abilities, Sony Xperia Z2 has an awesome 20.7MP rear or back facing camera. It is also equipped with 2.2MP front facing camera. One of the good feature of the smartphone is that the rear camera is providing 4K video recording support. Like all the Sony smartphones is also water and dust resistant. Talking about the connectivity features, Sony Xperia Z2 has Wi-Fi, 3G, NFC and Bluetooth.
Other features include 3GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage and microSD card slot. The battery backup of the smartphone seems good as it has a 3200 mAh battery. The smartphone is also customized with many Sony’s Software.
