MWC 2014: Sony Xperia Z2 announced

Today at Mobile World Congress, Sony has announced its new flagship smartphone named Sony Xperia Z2 aka ‘Sirius’. Sony has announced that smartphone will be available worldwide by the end of March 2014. There is no word on pricing at MWC.

Talking about the features,  Sony Xperia Z2 has a 5.2-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. The battery backup of the smartphone seems quite good as it is equipped with a 3,200 mAh battrey. Talking about the photo clicking abilities, Sony  Xperia Z2 has a a 20.7-megapixel rear or back facing camera. The smartphone has 3 GB RAM that is quite good for applications and games point of view.

Other features include USB DAC support, Noise Cancellation, and like the previous top-spec Sony, this one too is resistant to water and dust. Sony Xperia Z2 has 16 GB of internal memory and the memory can also be extended by a memory card slot.
