Vodafone subscribers to soon get free Wi-Fi hotspots in metros

Vodafone is all set to give free Wi-Fi hotspots to its users at places with high internet user density in order to offer free and uninterrupted data streaming to its users in metro cities. The company is all set to launch Project Spring under which Vodafone will provide Wi-Fi connectivity to its users that will be much better then the cellular networks that people are using these days.

                                                                                                                                           Vodafone

Vodafone has also started the testing of this projects in certain metro cities like Mumbai. In an Interview Vishant Vora director Vodafone India told,

“We’re trialing that in several metros including Mumbai. Wifi off-load is a developing technology and more functionalities are coming out which will make it more seamless. We’re trying to make the authentication seamless,”

It is also written in ET reports that Vodafone does not want its users to keep registering everytime whenever they are moving to different Hotspots. So they are working on one time registration for accessing the Wi-fi connectivity.  We’re trying to make the authentication seamless,” Vishant Vora, director, technology, Vodafone India told the publication.

The company does not talk about a single word regarding the price whether the hotspots will be free or paid for the Vodafone users. Vodafone is thinking  far fetched to advertise its brand and increasing its users in a big market called India. This concept will help them to increase its users in India and internet connectivity is the future of mobile world so Vodafone is basically focusing on that. In conclusion, The step of Vodafone will be very useful for its users and I as a Vodafone user will be waiting for its Delhi launch.
