Twitter Pulls #Music iOS App from App Store

Twitter has pulled its #Music iOS app from app store. On Friday, company revealed its plans to remove the app and deactivate the app for existing users on April 18.

Twitter #Music app was announced in April 2013. Twitter seeded #Music service with prominent musicians. let them tweet about their experiences. Company also tweeted that it will “continue to experiment with new ways to bring you great content based on music activity we see every day on Twitter.”

 

Twitter #Music app was launched after Twitter acquired the Hunted music discovery service. But this app fell off from top app list last year. Users also didn’t take interest in the service.
