Facebook has updated the design of its news feed once more. In past few months, Facebook tried to give more appealing news feed design and it seems this one is really nice. This news feed will look the same on both desktop and mobile devices.
This new design is based on the experimental design launched almost a year ago. That design was pretty with bigger photos. But navigation was not easy. Facebook has added easier navigation option at left, bigger images and new font. It is also optimized for mobile devices.
Facebook has also confirmed that it has only changed the design. It will not affect on the way it select the news feeds to display on the wall. Ranking algorithm of stories are the same. It means, you will get same stories but in better manner. Bigger images and video thumbnails are more clear. Marketing persons will be happy because it may increase CTR on ads.
These changes will roll out in coming weeks. So if you’re not seeing the new design just yet, you will soon.
For marketing persons, company has not changed anything. Requirements for images aspect ration for ads are the same and will not affect any of your campaigns.
