Kerala Police have arrested a high-school student for uploading latest malayalam movie online. He uploaded Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam film “Drishyam” in a social networking site. Police took action on the basic of complaint from the producer of film.
Hard disk of the computer and 4 pendrives used in the crime were also seized from the home of arrested student. Investigation team also arrested the operator of another website which uploads movies online.
In India, many teenager use free hosting sites like blogger for creating movies and songs website. They do it for fun but it can be a big trouble for them. Now, music companies and movie directors are serious on copyright issue.
