After launching low cost international calling, now VoIP company Viber has launched its app for Windows 8. Initially, Viber was only a mobile app and came to desktop back in May with support for Windows and Mac.

Viber for Windows 8 takes advantage of all Windows 8 features. It can also be pinned to start screen for quick access, snap Viber to the side screen with Snap View and search Viber contacts from universal search.

You can easily switch between desktop and mobile with just one click. Users can also send multi-language messages on Viber. Users can also set a unique language for Viber.

Viber’s phone calling feature makes it must try service. Viber is competition with Skype with an extra advantage. Advantage is that the calling cost of Viber is less that Skype in most of the situations.
