Less than a week after Amazon launched one day shipping service, Flipkart has also announced similar service with next day guaranteed delivery for Rs. 90 per item. This offer is valid only in few cities including Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad. Soon, this will be expanded in more cities.
With this premium service, customer can place their orders before 6 PM One day and get their item delivered by next working day only for Rs. 90. You can read more details here.
If your item is not shipped within the promised time, the amount charged for shipping will be refunded to your Flipkart wallet. In case you opt for cash on delivery, delivery charge will be collected as a part of the order.

This value-added service is available to consumers who need it – making online shopping a viable option even for last-minute purchases. We hope this will further accelerate the adoption of e-commerce in the country.”
Flipkart is getting touch competition from Amazon.in, so it does not want to loose a single chance. This is why it has launched this delivery option too early. We heard back in May that Flipkart is thinking to start a premium delivery service, but Amazon launched it before Flipkart. Amazon is growing really fast in India.
