Just after adding a new Web or Mobile labeling feature in Facebook chat, it seems company has another feature to web chat. This time, it has improved the search feature of the chat. Now, you can search conversations and friends of friends direct from search box available in the side chat bar of Facebook.

Facebook chat feature

When you start typing a name, you will notice that Facebook starts displaying matching contacts along with matching conversations. It also display few contacts who are not your friends but having mutual friends with you. It seems a nice idea, when you can search few more things along with the contact you are searching to start a chat. It seems strange that Facebook has made it easier to contact with people not in your friends list.

When you click on persons not your friend (Friends or Friends), it opens the chat box and lets you start conversations with people not in your friend list.

There are no official words about this update so, we cannot say whether it is just a testing or final release. We found that the feature is already available to most of the users in India.
