After the failed launch, Finally BlackBerry has resumed its BBM app for iOS and Android users. BBM is now available to download for free from App Store and Google Play Store.
BlackBerry is rolling out the app in stages. SO, if you don’t see app in store, wait for few more hours. In selected countries, it is also available via Samsung App store.
“To help manage this unprecedented pent-up demand for BBM, we are implementing a simple line-up system to ensure a smooth rollout,” Andrew Bocking, BlackBerry’s BBM business head, said in a blog post.
As there are many fake BBM apps already available in Google Play Store, company suggests users to download app from BBM.com. Official website will give you link to official app.

Company also added that users who already have an account will be able to use the service. And new users can create a free account. BlackBerry also confirmed that more than 6 million Android and iPhone users had pre-registered the app before the launch..
This cross-platform BBM was originally launched back in September 21 for Android and September 22 for iOS. But both versions were aborted.
