According to the reports of PTI, Samsung is planning to launch the two smartphones in India. Samsung has also said that the price of the phones should be under Rs 15,000. In July, Samsung has launched two smart phones in India namely Samsung galaxy S4 Zoom and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini but there price range is approximately Rs 25,000. Samsung is trying to Hit the mid range market by making these two devices. Although there is no official confirmation, but we can expect the launch of Galaxy Ace 3 and Galaxy Express. With these smartphones, Samsung aims to compete with Indian smartphone companies which are giving good fight.
Also, This month Samsung has started the support for 9 Indian languages in its Galaxy smart phones and tablets. These languages are Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati. Samsung has Launched a range of Tablets earlier this month.
Vineet Taneja ( Samsung Country Head for Mobile business) did not reveal the exact pricing of the low cost smart phones. If we believe the reports these devices would range between Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000. We can also expect large screen phones but no other details for Specifications has been yet revealed in the reports.
Samsung is also set to Launch the Samsung Note 3 and Samsung Galaxy Gear at an Event On Tuesday, September 17th. Samsung is already taking pre orders of these two devices for Rs. 2000.
