NSA Can Hack Your Smartphone and Access Smartphone Data [Reports]

A new shocking report about NSA has been leaked by Germany’s Der Spiegel. Reports says that National Security Agency can directly access your smartphone. NSA have ability to access all leading smartphones including Apple’s iOS, Google’s Android and BlackBerry.

NSA has separate dedicated teams working on each operating system. They can access smartphone’s SMS traffic, Notes, location data and contacts. And most of the smartphone companies do not know about this.

Smartphone companies, especially BlackBerry and Apple claimed that agency cannot read the encrypted messages of iMessage and BBM being sent from devices. But, it is possible that NSA could access messages direct from server.

Documents also suggests that in 2009, NSA was temporarily unable to access BlackBerry devices. Later it regained access to BlackBerry.

BlackBerry officials said to spiegel persons, “It is not for us to comment on media reports regarding alleged government surveillance of telecommunications traffic.” The company said it had not programmed a “‘back door’ pipeline to our platform.”
