After landing to iPhone, now Microsoft office has come to top mobile Platform Android. Office 365 subscribers will be able to download and run Office mobile apps on their Android devices.

Microsoft Office Comes to Android

This Android app works only on Android smartphones. Tablet users will have to use office web apps. This app works on Android smartphone running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or higher.

Like iPhone app, this app is also available to download for free. But you must be office 365 subscriber for running Office on your smartphone.  Office 365 requires a $100 per year subscription.

With this app, you will be able to access, view, edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents. You can also edit a document stored online in offline mode. Once you connect the Internet, online document will be saved. You will also be able to save your document to SkyDrive easily.

Currently this app is available only for US users. But Microsoft has confirmed that the app will be released to dozens of other countries in next few weeks. Download the app from Google Play Store.
