First smartphone running on Firefox OS goes on sale in Spain. This smartphone is dubbed as ZTE Open. It was announced back in February. Firefox developer devices Keoon and Peak was put on sale back n April. These devices made by Spanish company GeeksPhone.
ZTE Open features a 3.5 inch capacitive display with 480×320 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz MSM7225A Snapdragon S1 processor and runs on Firefox OS. It coomes with 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera. It is packed with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB internal storage.
Other features are WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS with AGPS. It is packed with 1200 mAh battery.
ZTE Open is fully integrated with Facebook and the Spain-based social network Tuenti. Soon, it will also come integrated with WhatsApp messaging service.
