Geeksphone, smartphone OEM based startup has put the Firefx OS developers phone on sale. Company was offering Keon for $119 and Peak for $194. Both smartphones run on Firefox OS. Within few hours, both devices were sold out. Now the devices are listed as “Out of stock.” Both devices were announced back in January 2013.
Both devices are preview devices and designed for developers so that they can test their application for Firefox OS.
Keon is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It features a 3.5 inch HVGA display. It comes with 3 megapixel camera. It is packed with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot.
Peak is a powerful device with 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. It features 4.3 inch qHD IPS display. It comes with 8 megapixel camera at the back of the device and a 2 megapixel camera at the front.
Both devices are now out of stock but Geeksphone aims to put more devices on sale soon. According to reports company aims to ship 5000 devices daily.
