Today, Finnish handset maker Nokia has announced another QWERTY phone in its asha series called Nokia Asha 210. This smartphone is priced at $210. It features dedicated WhatsApp key.
Nokia Asha 210 comes with attractive look. It is available in both Single SIM ad Dual SIM variants. It comes with 2.4 inch QVGA display of 320×240 pixels resolution. It runs on Nokia’s S40 OS with Asha UI on the top. Asha 210 features a 2 megapixel camera with dedicated camera key. It comes with 64 MB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
It is packed with 1,200 mAh battery that claims to gibe 46 days of standby time in SINGLE SIM and 24 days in DUAL SIM.
The main attraction of this smartphone is its dedicated WhatsApp key. It also comes with phonebook integration. So you can launch whatsapp direct from phonebook for any contact. WhatsApp is growing fast with more than 200 million active users. Users are using WhatsApp messaging as replacement of dedicated messaging feature of phone. This integration will surely help Nokia to attract few customers.
Nokia Asha 210 will be available in Yellow, Black, White, Cyan and Magenta color options. It is expected to start shipping by the second quarter of 2013.
