Samsung has officially announced its 8 inch tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 in India. It was unveiled at MWC last week. Price of the tablet has not been announced yet, but company is expected to announce the price by the mid March. This tablet will go on sale by the end of March. We can expect price of the tablet to be around Rs. 25,000.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (Note 510) Announced in IndiaSamsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a 8 inch TFT LCD display with resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It also comes with S-pen. When the S-Pen is pulled out from the tablet, it will automatically start S-Pen supporting menus as well as apps.

It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with a layer of TouchWiz and Live Panel user experience.

It is powered by a 1.6 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor with 2 GB RAM. It comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage models. Both models comes with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 64 GB. This tablet comes in Wifi only and wifi+3g models.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash that can capture high quality images and record HD videos. It also comes with a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calls.

It comes with dual band Wifi connectivity that supports to have 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands compatibility. WiFi+3G version of the tablet also has GPS module with A-GPS and GLONASS support. Other connectivity features are Bluetooth and USB 2.0.

It comes with all Samsung apps pre-installed. These apps include ChatON,Smart Stay, Learning Hub, Game Hub, Music Hub, Reader Hub and Video Hub.
