Skype Brings Auto Redial For iPhone and iPad with few Other Fixes

Skype has updated its app for iPhone and iPad devices with some new features and older fixes. This new update brings automatic redial for dropped calls. Users can use this feature to auto redial a call in case of dropped due to poor connection of missed. But, it is worth to note that app only makes a single redial attempt.

Skype for iPad also comes up with improved user interface and allows users to do a swipe from the left of the screen to see recent conversations in a sidebar. Some UI changes have also been noticed in iPad Mini.

Now one to one chat will also appear in the correct order.

  • Skype automatically reconnects a dropped call when your WiFi or mobile network reception is poor
  • General fixes

  • One-to-one chats now appear in the correct order

Updated Skype app for iPhone is now available in App Store for free that can also be downloaded on iPod touch. App for iPad will be released on Monday.
