This feature will surely be a big problem for Skype, Viber and other VoIP calling apps. It has a big advantage that users already have a big list of contacts whom they want to talk. Although the calling is free, you will be charged for as per you data plans. But you can use it for free over your home WiFi network.

This feature is completely different from the video call it launched in partnership with Skype. This feature is originally developed by Facebook. So we can also expect the video calling partnership may break in the future.

Facebook has launched it for US because the trial in Canada went well. Now it will be interesting to see how US users will respond to this feature.

Yesterday, Facebook launched Graph search that aims to give actual answer for which users are searching based on the interest ad connection on Facebook.
