Motorola is Working on ‘X’ Phone to take on iPhone

Motorola is now working on a new smartphone with codename X phone. Motorola has been working on this smartphone for past few months and is trying to make is better than iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones. After the phone, Motorola also has plans to work on X tablet.

These devices will be sold by carrier partner Verizon Wireless. Motorola has a benefit of using Google’s mobile operating system Android. Samsung,  a Motorola rival has become the No. 1 smartphone maker with Google’s help. Now Google will try to help Motorola to compete with Samsung.

Motorola was acquired by Google earlier this year for $12.5 billion and then changed the CEO of it. Since then company is struggling and losing market share. It has also left India and few other big markets few months back. After it was acquired by Google, we expected that we would see some nice Android tablets and smartphones but Motorola failed to do any thing.

Now, Google want to take on Apple and Samsung which are ruling smartphone and tablet market with more than 80% share in combine. Samsung is daily announcing new and new smartphone daily.
