Finally, Long awaited Windows 8 phone, HTC 8S is now available in India. It is available in India online only for Rs. 19,359. Online retailer Saholic has listed this smartphone in their catalog.
HTC 8S was unvelied this smartphone few months back in September. This is the third Windows Phone 8 based smartphone in India after HTC 8X and Samsung Ativ.
HTC 8S is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play processor that is strong enough to perform most of the tasks. It is packed with 512 MB RAM that is also capable of running most of the available games and apps.
It features a 4 inch WVGA display with 800×480 resolution. It comes with 4 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It features a 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording.

As I already mentioned that HTC 8S is the third windows 8 based smartphone in India, It has very less competition. So this is a nice opportunity for HTC to capture Windows phone 8 market in India. India is a big market when we talk about smartphones. It helped Samsung a lot and now Samsung is competition with Apple to be the most popular smartphone company.
