Apple Unveils 13 Inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display

Apple has just announced the retina version of 13 inch MacBook pro in the Apple event in Cupertino. This new model is 0.79 inch thin and offers nearly 2x the resolution of a 1080p display with 2560×1600 pixels resolution.

“In typical Apple fashion, we’re going to take our best product” and make it better, said Apple’s Phil Schiller.

There are three models of 13″ MacBook Pro Retina

  • 2.5 Ghz i5 with 128GB SSD and 8GB of RAM, $1699
  • 2.5 Ghz i5 with 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM,
  • 2.9 Ghz i7 with 512 SSD and 8GB of RAM

It is also packed with a Facetime HD camera with 720p recording, stereo mics and speakers. These new models are also packed with powerful battery that claims to last up to 7 hours. This model will have no optical drive. But, it comes with USB 3.0 and HDMI output (For TV output) and two Thunderbolt ports.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display will cost $1699. It is now available for purchase today.
