How to Reset iPhone 4S, 4 or 3GS

If your iPhone is not responding and frozen, a reset may help you.

Follow these steps

Soft Reset

1.  Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of the unit until a red slider appears
2.  Drag the slider on the screen.
3.  Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Hard Reset

1. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously for about ten seconds
2. Wait, until the Apple logo appears.
3. You have successfully completed a hard reset.
