On February 29th, Microsoft has released Windows 8 Consumer Preview for download which is a free testing version of its upcoming Windows 8.

This new version of windows is getting very good response from users and registered more than 1 downloads in the first day. It’s really interesting for Microsoft because this is only a pre-release version of Windows 8.

Windows 8 is really nice and looks great. Its Metro interface is very attractive and touch based input makes it really easy to use. Popularity of the preview version of Windows 8 clearly says that people are interested in the new version of Windows called Windows 8. Microsoft has worked hard for years to completely revamp Windows operating system. So, it will be interesting to see how people react after using this new operating system.
